Pakistan has emerged as the first team to secure a spot in the finals of the Gamers8 Tekken 7 Nations Cup.

In a remarkable display of skill, a trio from Pakistan achieved an outstanding victory over South Korea with a flawless 3-0 score in the upper-bracket final of the Gamers8 Tekken 7 Nations Cup on Sunday. This extraordinary feat secured Pakistan’s position as the first team to advance to the tournament final.

The team, comprised of Arslan Ash, Atif Butt, and Khan Imran, showcased their prowess by triumphing in all three sets against the Korean team. Notably, Pakistan’s Atif Butt emerged victorious in a thrilling boss match against Korea’s esteemed player, Knee, with a score of 3-2.

As of now, the opponent for Pakistan in the final is yet to be determined.

In the semi-final held on Saturday (July 8), Pakistan overcame the UK team with a score of 2-1. Although Arslan suffered a defeat in the middle encounter, Atif’s triumph in the boss match sealed the deal for Pakistan.

Following their triumph over Korea, Pakistan achieved an impressive fifth consecutive victory in the tournament, having previously emerged victorious against South Africa, Japan, and Saudi Arabia in the group stages. Moreover, Pakistan concluded the group-stage matches by securing the top spot in their group.

Arslan, recognized as one of the world’s finest Tekken players, boasts an exceptional track record with three EVO titles in Tekken 7. He secured the EVO Japan 2019 Championship and the Evo Championship Series 2019, making him the sole player to have triumphed in both prestigious events. Additionally, he was honored as the best E-Player of 2019 by EPSN, achieved the CEO 2021 Championship, and emerged as the winner of the 2022 Combo Breaker Tekken 7 tournament.

Atif, the reigning Tekken World Tour Finals champion, earned this title in 2022 while maintaining an undefeated record throughout the tournament.

Meanwhile, Khan showcased his exceptional skills by finishing as the runner-up in Evo 2022.
